| Beschrijving voorzijde | The obverse features a stylized representation of the Croatian national flag occupying the upper half of the field, with the Croatian coat of arms — the red and white chequy shield surmounted by the historical crowns of the five Croatian lands — centered at the top. The denomination '500' appears prominently in large numerals in the lower half of the field, with the currency name 'KUNA' inscribed below in bold relief. A circular legend reads 'REPUBLIKA HRVATSKA' along the upper rim, with the commemorative dates '30.V.1990.' and '30.V.1995.' flanking the lower periphery, and the inscription 'DAN DRŽAVNOSTI' (Statehood Day) completing the legend around the lower arc.
