An intaglio portrait of nuclear physicist Niels Bohr (1885–1962) is positioned at right, flanked by two vertical rows of orange ovals each bearing the yin-yang symbol — Bohr's personal emblem — with the inscription 'Niels Bohr' and a small atomic model vignette nearby; in the upper-left quadrant, a hologram foil strip alternates between a 'D' monogram and an atomic model above the numeral '500', replacing the earlier plain orange square of the first type. Serial numerals and signatures are rendered in luminescent ink, and UV-reactive ink is applied to selected design elements visible only under ultraviolet illumination. |
