| 正面描述 | The Czechoslovak state arms — a rampant lion with Slovak shield — appear in an oval guilloche vignette at left, while an intaglio portrait of a WWI Czech Legionnaire in laurel wreath, rendered in fine line engraving, occupies a circular medallion at right. A large central guilloche rosette carries the numeral 500, flanked by multicolour underprint in teal and brown; the series letter A and six-digit serial number are printed in red at upper left and upper right respectively. This example bears a red SPECIMEN overprint across the centre. |

| 变体 | P#18s - Specimen, Series A, dated 6. října 1923, cancelled with two punch holes |
| 备注 |
Czechoslovakia's early republic turned to the American Bank Note Company for several of its higher denominations — a practical choice given ABNCo's established relationships with newly sovereign European states in the aftermath of 1918. The 1923 500 Korun specimen (P#18S) belongs to that commissioning period, when Prague was still building institutional confidence in its currency after the 1919 separation from Austro-Hungarian monetary union.
Specimen examples were retained for archival and reference purposes rather than released into circulation. The "S" suffix designation confirms this status.
