Anti-counterfeiting legal text in Dutch, Javanese (in Javanese script), Chinese, and Malay (in Jawi script) is arranged in vertical columns across the full width of the note, with the bank name "DE JAVASCHE BANK" and the large numeral "500" overprinted in the lower central field. |
