正面描述	Entirely intaglio-printed in blue on cream paper, the note is framed by an elaborate oval guilloche border populated with allegorical figures, putti, and classical medallion portraits at left and right. The central field carries the issuer name BANQUE DE FRANCE and date above the large denomination inscription cinq cents francs in italic script. Two circular anti-counterfeiting legend panels flank the centre, with signature lines for Le Contrôleur, Le Caissier principal, and Le Secrétaire Général below.

背面描述	Printed in blue intaglio on cream paper, the reverse is dominated by a large oval vignette border formed by two standing allegorical figures — a female figure at left and a male figure at right — joined at the top by a caduceus motif amid ornate scrollwork. The lower cartouche holds a central female bust wreathed in flowers flanked by two reclining putti. Engravers' credits MR CABASSON INV. DEL. and PANNEMAKER SCULP. appear at the lower border.
