| Obverse description | The obverse features a raised central field displaying the coat of arms of Cameroon — comprising a shield with a vertical gold stripe bearing a star, flanked by crossed fasces — surrounded by the legend REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN at the top and the denomination 500 FRANCS CFA below.
