To the left of centre, Tibetan script inscription identifying the mountain as Qomolangma (ཇོ་མོ་གླང་མ) is incused into the field. In the lower right, a small raised rectangular cartouche contains the figure 8848.86, referencing the officially surveyed summit elevation in metres as revised in 2020.
