| 背面描述 | A full-colour reproduction of Edvard Munch's celebrated 1895 painting 'Love and Pain' (also known as 'Vampire') fills the reverse field, depicted here via a coloured agate stone insert set into the silver planchet. The composition shows a red-haired woman bending over a man in a melancholic, enveloping embrace, her hair cascading around his bowed head against a dark, atmospheric background. The image faithfully captures the expressionist tonality and emotional intensity of Munch's original work. The artist's signature E. Munch appears in the lower portion of the design. |

The BEAC issues collectible commemorative silver under its mandate covering six central African member states — Cameroon, Central African Republic, Chad, Republic of Congo, Equatorial Guinea, and Gabon — a monetary union whose franc has been pegged to the euro at 655.957 CFA per euro since the 1999 conversion from the French franc peg. These pieces are produced almost exclusively for the numismatic export market and see no meaningful circulation within the zone.
Beyond its BEAC affiliation, nothing independently verifiable distinguishes this particular issue historically or technically.
