正面描述	The obverse is struck in the form of an upward-facing horseshoe, its inner and outer edges defined by a raised gold-plated border with a continuous beaded inner rim. The mirror-polished field is bisected by the legend REPUBLIQUE DU CONGO curving along the left arm and CONGO at the base, while 500 FRANCS CFA 2016 follows the right arm. At the bottom center of the field, the national coat of arms of the Republic of the Congo is rendered in fine relief. Three inset crystal embellishments are positioned at each upper terminal and at the base of the horseshoe, adding decorative brilliance to the composition.

Along the interior arms, two rows of raised circular nail-hole motifs are arranged symmetrically on each side, evoking the appearance of a real horseshoe. At the lower center, a raised scroll-shaped banner bears the inscription GOOD LUCK in flowing cursive script. Three inset crystal embellishments mirror the obverse placement at the upper terminals and base, completing the good-luck talisman theme of this commemorative issue.
