Obverse description Central vignette of a rural irrigation landscape with a stone aqueduct or water channel receding toward a hilltop fortress in the background, rendered in intaglio in purple-brown tones. Arabic inscriptions appear across the top panel, with the denomination 500 expressed in Arabic numerals at upper right and lower left within ornate cartouches. Two signature facsimiles appear at lower right, accompanied by Arabic title legends, with a large blank oval at left reserved for the watermark.

Reverse description Central intaglio vignette of farm workers with cattle harvesting hay in a field, set within an ornate scrollwork frame with floral and foliate guilloche borders. The English inscription THE HASHEMITE KINGDOM OF JORDAN arches across the top, with FIVE HUNDRED FILS in large serif lettering along the bottom panel. Denomination numerals 500 appear in large format at both left and right, and the printer's imprint is printed in small letterpress at the foot of the note.
