| Beschrijving keerzijde | A panoramic depiction of the Governador Nobre de Carvalho Bridge (Macau-Taipa Bridge) spans the upper portion of the field, its cable-stayed pylons and deck rendered in fine relief against a plain field. In the lower half, a stylised abstract motif composed of interlocking ovoid and circular forms represents a lotus flower, the emblematic symbol of Macau, designed by engraver Paula Lourenço. The Chinese legend '葡萄牙 - 澳門' (Portugal - Macau) is inscribed along the upper left arc in traditional characters. The date '1999' appears along the lower right rim, with the engraver's name 'PAULA LOURENÇO' incised vertically along the right inner border. |
