| Beschrijving keerzijde | The Armenian letter Ց (Cʿ), the thirty-second character of the Armenian alphabet, is rendered in large stylized relief at the centre of the field, with ornamental filigree detailing incorporated into the lower curve of the letterform. The complete Armenian alphabet, comprising all thirty-eight letters, encircles the central motif as a continuous border legend running along the inner rim. A small floral ornament serves as a divider within the alphabetic legend. The design celebrates the Armenian script, attributed to Saint Mesrop Mashtots in the early fifth century AD, within a clean, uncluttered field that emphasizes the calligraphic character. |

Part of Armenia's 38-coin alphabet series issued between 2011 and 2013, each piece commemorating a single letter of the Հայոց գրեր — the Armenian script created by Mesrop Mashtots around 405 AD. Ց (pronounced roughly "dz") sits near the end of the classical 36-letter alphabet. The series was struck by the Kremnica Mint in Slovakia.
