背面描述	The large numeral '500' is prominently displayed in the copper-nickel centre field against a finely engine-turned diagonally lined background, with the Armenian word 'ԴՐԱՄ' (Dram) inscribed in smaller characters immediately below. The outer copper-aluminium-nickel ring is decorated with a continuous pattern of raised petal or scallop motifs encircling the entire circumference, giving the reverse a distinctive ornamental appearance.

KM#97 is occasionally encountered with uneven ring bonding, a known production inconsistency from this period of the Armenian mint's bimetallic output.
