| Obverse description | The coat of arms of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina occupies the upper central field, depicting a shield bearing a diagonal band (bend) adorned with six fleurs-de-lis, flanked by elaborate foliate mantling. Below the arms, a detailed view of the Old Bridge (Stari Most) of Mostar spans the lower field, flanked by historic stone buildings on either bank. The circular legend REPUBLIKA BOSNA I HERCEGOVINA runs along the upper periphery, and the date 1996 appears in the lower exergual area, flanked by small ornamental devices including the Pobjoy Mint mark. |
