Mô tả mặt sau Central device depicts the imperial Iranian lion passant to the right, holding a sword upright in its right forepaw, with a radiant rising sun emerging from its back — the traditional Shir-o-Khorshid (Lion and Sun) emblem of the Qajar dynasty. The Kiani crown is displayed above the lion and sun motif. The AH date ١٣٣٢ is divided across the exergual line beneath the lion. A wreath of oak and olive branches frames the central device on both sides, tied at the base. The denomination پانصد دینار (500 Dinars) is inscribed in Arabic script in the lower exergue beneath the dividing line.

Thông tin bổ sung

Ahmad Shah acceded to the throne in 1909 at age eleven, installed by constitutionalist forces after his father Mohammad Ali Shah was deposed for attempting to abolish the Majlis by force. The 500 dinar denomination sat at the lower end of the silver coinage hierarchy under the kran system, where 20 dinars equaled one shahi and 1,000 dinars one kran. By 1914, the Iranian treasury was effectively insolvent, with the country divided into Russian and British spheres of influence under the 1907 Anglo-Russian Convention.

Ahmad Shah was deposed in 1925, having spent much of his reign in Europe.
