Reverse description The reverse presents an identical rectangular format with rounded upper corners and matching suspension hole at the top. Five Chinese characters in traditional regular script are cast in raised relief within a recessed field, arranged vertically reading 準伍佰文省, indicating the denomination and reduced-count valuation. The bold, well-spaced characters exhibit the characteristic directness of Southern Song official casting, and a raised linear border encloses the field on all sides.
