Reverse description The reverse presents a vivid full-color photographic-style depiction of a Caribbean reef shark (Carcharhinus perezi) swimming above a coral reef in a tropical underwater scene, with colorful corals visible along the seabed and a seahorse rendered in relief to the right. The upper portion of the field shows a split above-and-below-water view, with a breaking wave and silhouetted palm trees rendered in monochrome relief contrasting with the colored underwater scene. The scientific name CARCHARHINUS PEREZI arcs prominently along the upper rim in bold raised lettering against a dark field.
