The upper portion bears a landscape vignette of the Leutkirch region with an Alpine panorama, a traditional farmhouse, and conifers, framed by a decorative foliate border. The denomination 'Fünfhunderttausend Mark' is set in bold blackletter script at centre, with the issuing text reading 'zahlt die Oberamtssparkasse Leutkirch dem Einlieferer dieses Scheines' dated Leutkirch, den 10. August 1923. Three manuscript signatures appear below, attributed to the Oberamtmann, Oberamtspfleger, and Sparkassendirektion, above the serial number in Series B. |
