The right panel bears the denomination 'Fünfhundertmillionen Mark' in bold Gothic lettering across the top, with the numeral '500' rendered as a large pale underprint guilloche and the word 'MILLIONEN' in large capitals overlaid upon it; below, a three-line redemption text, the date 'Rheydt, den 28. Aug. 1923', the title 'Der Oberbürgermeister', and a manuscript signature of the mayor complete the design. The printer's imprint 'Heinrich Deussen & Co. Rheydt' appears at the foot of the note. |
