A stylised heraldic eagle vignette with spread wings and displayed talons occupies the centre in a Republican German manner, with the denomination '500 Millionen Mark' repeated in Fraktur script to each side. A line of text along the lower margin declares the territorial validity within the Regierungsbezirk Pfalz and the expiry date of 1 April 1924. |
