| Obverse description | Central to the obverse is a selectively gilt inset medallion depicting the Polish state eagle with spread wings, rendered in high relief against a stippled background, surrounded by a beaded border. The circular legend around the gilt medallion reads RZECZPOSPOLITA POLSKA 2021 in Latin characters. Behind the medallion, in the silver field, is a detailed architectural panorama of Wrocław featuring the Tumski Bridge and a Gothic church tower, rendered in fine relief. | Reverse description | The reverse presents two monumental figures in high sculptural relief set within a slightly concave field bordered by a beaded inner circle, evoking the style of a historic seal or medieval roundel. At left stands a haloed bishop or saint, draped in flowing ecclesiastical robes and holding an orb and a floral sceptre, referencing the patron saints of Wrocław. At right stands an armoured knight in full plate armour bearing a sword and a heraldic shield decorated with an eagle motif. The curved legend WROCŁAW is inscribed at the left, MAŁA OJCZYZNA arching across the upper field, and UW at the lower right, all in Latin script. |
