Reverse description The official FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations) emblem is rendered centrally within a large circular device occupying the majority of the field, depicting the stylized wheat sheaf and globe motif with the letters 'F', 'A', and 'O' integrated into the design. Within the lower arc of the FAO circle, the inscription '16 OCT' appears to the left and 'WORLD FOOD DAY' curves along the bottom, commemorating the inaugural World Food Day on 16 October 1981. The outer legend 'ŚWIATOWY DZIEŃ ŻYWNOŚCI' — the Polish-language equivalent of 'World Food Day' — arcs along the upper periphery of the coin.
