正面描述 The obverse depicts a detailed view of the Great Wall of China stretching across a mountainous landscape, rendered in fine relief against a polished field. The wall's battlements and watchtowers are visible receding into the distance, conveying depth and grandeur. The circular legend 中华人民共和国 (People's Republic of China) arcs around the upper portion of the coin. The date 1993 appears in the lower exergue below the landscape motif.

附加信息

China's Gold Kuan Yin series ran from 1990 through the mid-1990s and occupied an awkward position in the People's Bank of China's bullion program — neither purely investment product nor fully a commemorative, it was priced and distributed through channels that made Western accumulation difficult at the time of issue. The 1993 date falls within a period when the PBC was aggressively expanding its precious metals export program, partly to generate hard currency.

The .999 fineness distinguishes this series from the earlier Panda issues, which used .999 gold but were subject to more rigorous mintage controls. Exact production figures for the 1993 Kuan Yin remain inconsistently reported across Chinese and Western reference sources.
