正面描述	Printed in brown, the obverse carries a central landscape vignette of a mountainous scene with a flock of sheep in the foreground. The bank name in Chinese characters (晉察冀邊區銀行) is inscribed across the top, flanked by the denomination numerals at each upper corner. The large Chinese characters 伍拾圓 (Fifty Yuan) are centered below the vignette, with serial number panels appearing in the upper portion of the note.

背面描述	Printed in olive green, the reverse is laid out with large numeral '50' vignettes at the left and right, set within circular guilloche rosettes. A central rectangular vignette presents a rural landscape with trees and buildings. The English bank name 'BANK OF SHENSI CHAHAR & HOPEI' appears in a banner across the top of the central vignette, with 'FIFTY YUAN' and 'LOCAL CURRENCY' inscribed below, and the date '1945' at the foot.
