Reverse description An oval vignette at right encloses a detailed intaglio view of the Temple of Heaven in Beijing, surrounded by a guilloche border. A large numeral 50 in ornate lettering occupies the centre of the design, flanked by floral rosette patterns. The place name CHUNG KING appears in a panel below centre, with the bank title BANK OF CHINA across the top and printer's imprint at the bottom.
