| Reverse description | The reverse features a bold, oversized numeral 50 dominating the field, commemorating the golden jubilee of the Central Bank of Kenya. Within the interior of the zero, a circular cartouche contains a reduced rendition of the Kenyan coat of arms with the legend BANKI KUU YA KENYA around its perimeter.
