Obverse description Dark olive-green and black intaglio print on white cotton paper. The centre carries the large Chinese-character denomination inscription 伍拾錢 (Fifty Sen), flanked on the left by a circular red seal with Chinese characters and on the right by a guilloche rosette enclosing the numeral 50. The bank name 朝鮮銀行株式会社 is printed in a horizontal band across the upper portion, with fine ornamental corner pieces and a repeating border pattern. A central vignette block contains a Japanese imperial chrysanthemum crest above the denomination text, with a text cartouche below carrying issue-date and authorization characters; the date 大正八年十二月二十日 (20 December, 8th year of Taishō, i.e. 1919) appears along the lower margin.
