| Obverse description | Bare-headed effigy of King Bhumibol Adulyadej (Rama IX) in left-facing profile, depicted in military dress uniform with an ornately decorated collar visible at the truncation. The portrait is rendered in high relief with fine detail. A Thai-script legend curves along the left field identifying the king by name, while a second inscription at the right reads 'Rama IX' in Thai numerals. The effigy was engraved by Supab Aun-aree. |
