| Opis rewersu | The upper portion of the reverse carries a large guilloche medallion with the numeral "50" set within a stylised bo-leaf surround at the upper left, flanked by two butterflies on flowering branches in soft yellow-green tones, set against a plain reserve area serving as the watermark zone. The central vignette presents an intaglio rendering of an ornate ceremonial shield or drumhead decorated with a makara (mythical sea creature) motif in dark blue, set before a landscape background with a rocky outcrop, a dagoba stupa, and ancient temple architecture rendered in pale green and ochre tones. Trilingual bank title inscriptions appear at the top of the lower panel, and the denomination in Tamil and English is lettered at the bottom, with the printer's imprint along the lower margin. |
