| Obverse description | Plain check-style note printed in black on cream paper within a simple ruled border, with a repeating legend in Cyrillic along all four margins reading that the cheque is valid for ten days from the date of issue. The central text area carries the heading ГОСУДАРСТВЕННАГО БАНКА (State Bank) with a handwritten denomination of 50 roubles and a manuscript date of 15 February 1918, followed by the order to pay the bearer fifty roubles and to debit the issuer's current account. A serial number and two manuscript signatures appear in the lower portion of the note. |
