| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse depicts a scene commemorating the 175th anniversary of the savings banking system in Russia, centred on an early Soviet-era wheeled tractor viewed from the front-left, with a male figure standing beside it in work attire. Sheaves of wheat and ears of grain are rendered in fine relief across the lower foreground, evoking agricultural prosperity associated with the savings movement. In the background, a stylised sun rises over undulating waves or clouds, suggesting progress and a new economic dawn. The curved legend СБЕРЕГАТЕЛЬНОЕ ДЕЛО В РОССИИ runs along the upper periphery, while the commemorative inscription 175 ЛЕТ appears in the lower exergue. The entire design is executed in high-relief proof quality against a deeply mirrored field. |

Issued as part of the Bank of Russia's long-running historical series on Russian banking and finance, this piece commemorates organized savings institutions that trace back to the state savings banks established under Nicholas I in 1841. Those early sberegatel'nye kassy were explicitly designed to encourage thrift among the lower classes, operating initially through just two branches — one in St. Petersburg, one in Moscow — before expanding across the empire over the following decades.
