The foil strip placement on P#34 was a deliberate response to regional counterfeiting pressure, particularly the high-quality fakes circulating across the Gulf in the mid-2000s. Circulated examples from this series frequently show accelerated wear at the folds — the 155 × 70 format concentrates handling stress in predictable places, and cotton stocks from this print run were notably thinner than earlier SAMA issues.
