| Beschrijving voorzijde | The left portion of the obverse carries a text panel in Gothic script set against a fine guilloche underprint, bearing the issuing bank name, denomination in large Fraktur lettering, and the statutory authorization text dated 30 August 1924, with place and date of issue (Mannheim/Karlsruhe, 11 October 1924) and two manuscript signatures of the Vorstand der Badischen Bank below. To the right, an intaglio portrait vignette within an octagonal frame presents a three-quarter bust of Johann Peter Hebel, rendered in fine line engraving. Denomination numerals '50' appear at the upper right and lower right corners in red letterpress, with the serial number printed in red at top left and bottom right. |
