正面描述	Printed in red on a cream guilloche underprint, the note carries the Arms of Gibraltar within an oval vignette at the top centre, flanked by foliate branches. The issuer's title appears in a bold banner below the vignette, with the denomination expressed in both English and Spanish ('CINCUENTA LIBRAS') on either side of the central text block. Large '£50' numerals occupy the left and right margins within ornate cartouches, and the note bears a perfin 'SPECIMEN' cancellation with zeroed serial numbers.
正面铭文	£50 CINCUENTA LIBRAS THE GOVERNMENT OF GIBRALTAR hereby declares this Note to be of the value of FIFTY POUNDS and to be legal tender for that amount, and undertakes to redeem the said note in sterling money for the full face value at a date to be fixed hereafter by His Excellency the Governor. Gibraltar, 6th August, 1914. Colonial Treasurer { N.B. - This note is issued under the provisions of Ordinance 10 of 1914, and is secured by the said Ordinance on the assets and general Revenue of the Colony.
背面描述	The reverse is unprinted save for a faint offset impression of the obverse design showing through the paper, and bears a centrally placed perfin cancellation reading 'CANCELLED' in bold capital letters applied diagonally across the face of the note.
