| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse presents a detailed architectural view of the Prophet's Mosque (Al-Masjid an-Nabawi) in Medina, rendered in high relief with its characteristic dome, minarets, and arcaded walls prominently depicted across the lower field. Rising above the mosque facade are two ornate medallions side by side, the left bearing the name 'Muhammad' (محمد) and the right bearing the name 'Allah' (الله) in Arabic calligraphy, joined by an elaborate decorative staff. A short Arabic inscription appears in the upper field above the medallions. The beaded border frames the entire composition. |
