Two ornamental gilt columns frame the composition left and right, with the denomination numeral '50' printed in salmon-pink at each corner against a dark border. The legend 'Stadt Aschaffenburg' is set in large decorative lettering along the bottom margin, with the printer's imprint 'H. Stürtz A.G. Würzburg' below, and the artist's signature 'A. Hock' visible at lower right of the vignette. |
