| Obverse description | The obverse carries a central vignette of the Bergsturz (landslide) of 1518, rendered in a colourful lithographic style set within a diamond-shaped frame with a dark blue border; a rocky mountainside dominates the scene, with figures and a flagged post visible along the riverbank below. The denomination '50 Pf.' appears in a decorative cartouche at the upper left, while the issue date 'Wartha den 5. Juli 1921' is inscribed at the lower left and the validity notice 'Gültig bis Monat n. Aufkündigung' at the upper right. A pink guilloche wave pattern surrounds the entire composition, and two facsimile signatures of the Magistrat appear at the lower right. |
