| 背面描述 | Octagonal reverse with a continuous pearl border following the eight-sided periphery. The circular legend KLEINGELDERSATZMARKE runs around the upper and lateral fields within the pearl border. Three small five-pointed stars are evenly spaced along the lower margin between the pearl border and the rope circle. |

This is a piece of German Notgeld — emergency currency issued privately during the severe coin shortages of World War I and its aftermath. Businesses like Holnburger's inn and butcher shop in Miesbach issued their own small-denomination tokens to make change when official coinage had effectively vanished from circulation, hoarded by the public or melted for the metal. Zinc was the material of necessity: copper and nickel had long since been requisitioned for the war effort.
