| Description de l’avers | The obverse is dominated by a central vignette of a large oak tree, from the trunk of which hangs a circular red wax seal of the Marktflecken Schweina by a twisted cord. Two pigs graze and root in the grass at the foot of the tree on either side. A green ribbon banner at the top carries the issuing authority inscription in Gothic script, while the large denomination legend in ornate Fraktur type occupies the upper right, accompanied by the place name, full date of issue, and two facsimile signatures below the titles of the Gemeindevorstand and Gemeinderat. A block of redemption text in Gothic script fills the lower centre, with a printed serial number to its right. |

| Description du revers | The reverse carries a central oval vignette enclosed within a decorative cartouche, presenting the grave monument of Friedrich Fröbel set amid cypress and other trees in a cemetery landscape. To the left stands a charming colour illustration of two children — a girl in a red skirt and a boy in green jacket — holding a bouquet of flowers, evoking Fröbel's legacy as the founder of the kindergarten. A scroll banner above the vignette names the subject, and denomination numerals in bold bicolour type appear in the upper left and lower right corners, framed by red ornamental flourishes. A descriptive text panel in Gothic script below the vignette records Fröbel's death in 1852 and his burial at the Schweina cemetery. |
