The oval is surrounded by a Low German dialect verse inscription running along its border, with the denomination numeral '50' repeated in black-outlined cartouches at the upper left and right corners. A lower panel carries the validity inscription, the signature of Director Prof. Dr. J. Voss, and a serial number, above the large denomination legend '50 Pfg.' at the foot. |
