The denomination numeral "50" appears in red at centre between the shields, flanked by the Gothic script inscription "Notgeld" and "Pfennig", while an elaborate acanthus-scroll border frames the entire composition. The town name "Auma" is inscribed in Gothic lettering along the lower margin, with the printer's imprint "Jügelt's Buchdruckerei, Auma i. Thür." in small text at the very foot of the note. |
