At centre, an irregularly shaped vignette on a light ground portrays a woman in traditional Thuringian regional dress seated at a spinning wheel, accompanied by a second figure in an elaborate tall headdress with red decoration. A ribbon cartouche at the top reads 'Trachtenbilder', and a scroll cartouche at the lower centre contains a two-line verse in Thuringian dialect. |
