| Obverse description | The note is framed by a decorative border of fir branches with dark red pine cones in each corner. At centre, the Thuringian coat of arms — a blue shield bearing a red-and-white striped lion passant with a crowned dragon head — is placed within the vignette field, surmounted by the legend 'Das Thüringer Wappen'. The denomination numeral '50' appears in large black Fraktur script to either side of the shield, with the text 'Gutschein über Fünfzig Pfg.' below. A rectangular text cartouche at the lower portion gives the redemption conditions in small Fraktur type. |
