| Obverse description | Cream-toned note with a decorative geometric border in black. The header bears the title inscription in large red Gothic lettering against a dark band. At centre, the municipal coat of arms of Apolda appears above the large red numeral '50', with the denomination 'PFENNIG' in bold black letterpress beneath. Validity and acceptance clauses in Gothic script flank the central vignette on left and right, with two manuscript signatures below their respective official titles and the issue date 'Apolda, den 1. August 1921.' at foot. |
