The layout is divided into three horizontal registers: the town name 'Rastenburg Ostpr.' at top center; a central panel with redemption text flanked by large '50 Pfennig' numerals at left and right; and a lower panel containing the anti-counterfeiting warning in small Fraktur script. |

Wer diese Scheine nachmacht oder fälscht und von nachgemachten oder gefälschten Scheinen Gebrauch macht, wird mit Zuchthaus bis zu zehn Jahren bestraft. (§ 267 ff. des Reichsstrafgesetzbuches).
