The denomination '50' appears in red at each upper corner with 'Pf.' in the lower corners, and decorative side borders of stylised floral scrollwork in red and black frame the composition. | Beschrijving keerzijde | Central rectangular vignette in a woodcut-style illustrating a scene from the Saxon Prinzenraub (Princes' Theft) of 1455: a standing figure in peasant dress restrains a black horse upon which a young prince in a red tunic is seated, with a spear laid across the horse's back, a town silhouette visible in the background. The denomination '50' appears in red in all four corners with 'Pfg.' at upper left and upper right; flanking text panels in red-bordered cartouches carry the narrative inscription, and 'Sächs.
