Reverse description Central rectangular vignette in a woodcut-style illustrating a scene from the Saxon Prinzenraub (Princes' Theft) of 1455: a standing figure in peasant dress restrains a black horse upon which a young prince in a red tunic is seated, with a spear laid across the horse's back, a town silhouette visible in the background. The denomination '50' appears in red in all four corners with 'Pfg.' at upper left and upper right; flanking text panels in red-bordered cartouches carry the narrative inscription, and 'Sächs. Prinzenraub.' is lettered along the lower margin. The artist's monogram 'Pix' appears at lower right of the vignette.
