A validity clause in Kurrent script, the issuing authority 'Städtische Sparkasse', and two facsimile signatures appear in the lower right, while the printer's imprint runs along the bottom margin. |

| Popis rubu | The reverse is entirely covered by a full-bleed multicolour vignette illustrating traditional tanning and leather-working — the trade for which Kirchhain was known as the 'Gerberstadt' — with three artisans working hides at a tanning pit amid half-timbered buildings in the background. In the lower left corner, the denomination numeral '50' in blue is set above a heraldic vignette showing two rampant lions flanking a crowned column, rendered in gold and black. The note is framed by a yellow and black zigzag border with teal dot ornaments at the corners and midpoints. |
