The denomination 'Fünfzig Pfennig' is rendered in large ornate script at centre, above a validity clause noting acceptance by all city cashiers until 31 March 1922. The date 'Crefeld, den 25. September 1919' and the facsimile signature of the Oberbürgermeister appear below, with a guilloche underprint across the face. The serial number with letter prefix and a series indicator are printed in black at the foot. |
