| Obverse description | Cream-toned note with a decorative red and black interlace border enclosing a guilloche underprint of large numerals '50' on both sides. At centre, an oval cartouche bearing the historic city seal of Lörrach dated 1756, surrounded by elaborate scrollwork and displaying a stylised bird in flight. Text inscriptions appear in two columns flanking the vignette, with the serial number at lower left, the Bürgermeister's manuscript signature below centre, and the issuing authority 'GEMEINDERAT VON LÖRRACH' along the lower margin. The printer's imprint of Poppen & Ortmann, Freiburg i. B. appears in the bottom margin. |
